On the new moon of each lunar month, we perform a session of Medicine Buddha sadhana.
Medicine Buddha is the manifestation of the healing energy of all enlightened beings, which protects sentient beings from physical and mental sickness and other dangers and obstacles. The practice of Medicine Buddha is a very powerful method for healing ourselves and others, and for overcoming the inner sickness of attachment, hatred, and ignorance.
