Today, May 1, was Bardor Tulku Rinpoche’s birthday. For the occasion Khandro Sonam Chotso went early in the morning to light 1000 candles, offer 1000 offering bowl and 1000 flowers at Palpung Thubten Choling Monastery, in Wappinger Falls.
Then in the early afternoon, she planted two cherry trees on either side of the center.
