Welcome to the Raktrul Foundation home page. We are very pleased to report that Lama Tashi Topgyal has returned safely from our Earthquake Relief Mission to Tibet. The Ratkrul Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization. It is important to note that The Raktrul Foundation is now the secular, humanitarian organization that is an out picturing of the activity of The Venerable Bardor Tulku Rinpoche. Our purpose is to provide direct, practical assistance to villagers in remote areas of Eastern Tibet. Read more . Medical/Solar Mission Plans for 2010 As many of you know, prior to the earthquake that devastated the Jyekundo area in Tibet on April 14, 2010 the Medical/Solar team was planning a 2010 Mission. We will continue to move ahead with all plans for that mission, although we may not be able to depart 2010. Our ability to proceed depends on China, the earthquake situation and the decision of our director, Bardor Tulku Rinpoche as how to best serve the needs of the people. We are sure of the following: There still is a “Medical/Solar Mission.” There will be subsequent mission trips to Tibet as conditions allow. We will keep you updated on our progress through our e-mail newsletter.
