What is the Purpose of the General Fund?
Maintaining a Dharma center requires an ongoing, uninterrupted access to financial resources to cover the variety of expenses that are incurred.
KPL’s regular expenses include:
- rent for the house at 37 Pinewood Lane
- electric bills
- heating bills
- shrine supplies (e.g. incense,
saffron, rice, etc. - food
- household supplies
- office supplies
- computer and Internet expenses
- transportation expenses
- insurance
- professional fees (e.g. CPA fees)
- printing and mailing costs
Periodically additional expenses have to be covered such as:
- lama offerings for visiting lamas
- travel cost for visiting lamas
- shrine accessories (shrine objects, cushions, liturgy texts)
- computer software
- computer hardware
The revenue to cover these expenses is generated through memberships and programs offered at KPL, but these sources are not always sufficient.

Make Your Donation as a Gift to or in Memory of a Loved One
Honor a loved one or their memory with a donation to KPL Construction Fund. We will send a tribute card, signed by Bardor Tulku Rinpoche, to your loved one to inform him or her about your thoughtful contribution or a card in memory to the family of a person who passed away.

If you make your donation online, please provide the name of the honoree and other instructions for us in the comment field on the payment page. Please let us know whether we should mail the tribute card directly to the honoree or to you, so you can personally present the card.

If you would like for us to send the card directly to the honoree, please provide his or her mailing address. Otherwise, we will mail the card to you, so you can personally present your thoughtful gift.
