Those wishing to do a Ningye, may participate on the first day of the Nyungne. Please call if you wish to participate.
Practice starts at 5am, and is all day. Nyungne ends on the morning of the last day.
Day 1: Nyungne & Ningye; there is only one meal in the middle of the day, but liquids are allowed.
Day 2: Nyungne; is a complete fast with no food or liquid |

| Lama Sangye Tenzin, the resident lama at Raktrul Foundation has done extensive meditative retreats, long pilgrimage journeys and received many oral transmissions, empowerments and instructive teachings from highly respected teachers. He was invited to the United States in 2000 to guide the activities of Raktrul Foundation. |

Lama Tashi Topgyal, is from Raktrul Monastery, Tibet and has received the empowerments, readings, and explanations regarding the first Bardor Tulku Rinpoche Treasure Texts from Lama Karma Thupthen, the second Bardor RinpocheÕs main desciple. After studying and teaching Lama Tashi then went into a 9-year-9-month retreat. He has come to U.S. to teach at Raktrul Foundation. |
