Construction work continued throughout 2015. The first floor is near
completion and the laborious work of gold leafing the buddha statue
by Mr. John Lee and Lama Tashi Tobgyal begins.
The focus of 2016 will turn towards the completion of the second
floor.
At Bardor Tulku Rinpoche’s request, the front porch will be extended
to the width of the building. Concrete walls are being built at the
time of writing before winter sets in.
There is still much work to do. KPL needs to raise $200K in order to
complete construction of the second floor. Your continued generosity
will help make this a reality.
